Rush and Soda Creeks Fish Ladders (1989/91)

Fish ladders were installed on these tributary creeks to the East Branch North Fork Feather River, which had been blocked to fish passage since highway culverts were installed 50 years earlier. More than 20 local volunteers assisted with fish ladder construction. Sponsored by the Plumas County Community Development Commission, funded by the Wildlife Conservation Board and the Plumas County Fish and Game Commission for $25,300, with assistance from Cal-Trans and Pacific Gas & Electric Company for monitoring.
