Little Last Chance TAC Meeting

In compliance with the American Disabilities Act (ADA), Plumas Corporation Feather River Coordinated Resource Management group will make every reasonable attempt to accommodate any attendee or participant at our meetings needing special assistance beyond what is normally provided. Please contact the Watershed Coordinator at 530-283-3878 at least 48 hours prior to a scheduled meeting to inform us of your particular needs and to determine whether accommodation is feasible.

9:00 Goss Ranch (East Creek) (issues - replace bridge, upper low water crossing, riffles on meanders, drop to diversion dam, Goss/Bertrand straightening)

10:30 Bertrand/Ramelli (East) (issues - raise bridge, drop to Ramelli diversion dam, depth of riffle crests, channel width)

12:00 Ramelli (North) (issues - placement of upper riffle crest)
1:00 McInerney down to Dotta (North) (issues - tributary from cabin, dropping down to Dotta, diversion dam maintenenace)

2:00 Guidici Ranch (issues - using remnant channels in gully at Areas E, F, J; dropping Areas A,B,C,D if lacking funds)

4:00 Adjourn

Other issues/things to keep in mind:  water management during construction, grazing management during the first year, fencing, public meeting this fall in Vinton.

This is an ambitious schedule.  Hopefully, we can complete it in one day.
Bring your lunch & everything you need.  It can get quite windy & cold.  No facilities.  Also, since the channel is away from roads, we'll need to drive on the meadows, and need to keep the vehicles to a minimum, so keep yourself compact.  Please let me know whether or not you'll be able to attend.  Thanks.  I look forward to seeing you there.  If leaving from Quincy, we can carpool from the Plumas Corp office, and will leave here promptly at 8 am.  –Leslie
